Trish McDonald
Trish McDonald chaired the Australian Museum's Body Art exhibition project team in 1999/2000. She had previously worked on a variety of both travelling and permanent exhibitions at the Australian Museum including Bats, Punkulture, Sex - it's only natural, More than dinosaurs - evolution of life, and Shark!
With a background in zoology and education Trish worked in the Education Division of the Australian Museum in Sydney for seven years in both schools programs and outreach programs. In 2000 she became a Strategic Initiatives Officer working with the Director to implement and manage new programs and projects across the Australian Museum, including the thylacine cloning project, relationships with regional museums, and repatriation requests.
Early in 2001 Trish moved to Bathurst, New South Wales, becoming Bathurst City Council's Museum Planner. The role of this position is to provide leadership and a planned approach to the development of Bathurst's museums.
