Geoffery Caban, Carol Scott & Robert Swieca

Geoffrey Caban is Professor of Design Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney and in 1999-2000 is Visiting Fellow at the Powerhouse Museum. From 1988 to 1999 he was Dean of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at UTS. He is the author of a number of books and papers on design education and design history.

Carol Scott is Manager of Evaluation and Visitor Research at the Powerhouse Museum, and is currently President of the Evaluation and Visitor Research Special Interest Group and a member of the Museums Australia Council. She is the author of a number of publications and conference papers on visitor research in museums.

Robert Swieca is Project Coordinator of the Indigenous Australians Gallery at the Powerhouse Museum and a member of the Planning Committee for the permanent Decorative Arts and Design Gallery. He is currently National Secretary of Museums Australia and Convener of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance of Museums Australia, and is a former National President of the Museum Educational Association of Australia.
